On Day 1, participants will experience Arbinger's renowned program,
The Choice Seminar,
which explores Arbinger's foundational material - including the problem of self-deception and its solution.
(
The Choice is the Phase 1 training program Arbinger uses in all of its work with individuals and
organizations in a broad range of areas - whether in families, or related to our work with corporations,
schools, treatment programs, governmental agencies, humanitarian concerns, law enforcement and corrections
agencies, helping professionals, and so on).
Day 2 is then devoted to Arbinger's key workplace implementation program,
The Choice at Work. By the end
of this day, participants will know exactly what being out the box means in the workplace - what it looks
like, and how to achieve it. Specifically, in each of the four main directions of work - toward customers,
toward coworkers, toward team members, and toward one's boss - participants will learn to focus on their
work in a particular kind of way, a way that keeps them out of the box. They will learn a systematic and
concrete way of implementing Arbinger's work in their individual and team efforts at work, and will
learn how to institute a reporting mechanism that will keep them applying the work methods and strategies
learned during the course. Finally, participants will learn how to leverage their learning to solve
workplace conflicts - especially enduring problems and conflicts that have seemed intractable.
Until recently, this course was only offered within client organizations. Arbinger is now offering
it to the general public. It is an ideal course as well for representatives from organizations who
are considering Arbinger training for their organizations.
Space is limited, so interested persons should register as soon as possible.
