Creating Lasting Solutions

Our political system is largely based on conflict and confrontation. As a result, our elected leaders are often disparaged as being mean spirited, uncooperative, out of touch, and in it for themselves. We work with these elected leaders and know that this view of them is incorrect. They don't like the way the system invites elected officials to hop into prepackaged party positions and hammer away with whatever tactics are available. That approach takes a terrible toll - not just on our political system, but on the individuals who have devoted their lives to public service.

We work with politicians and governmental leaders from all parties. Very often we work with groups that are combinations of the various parties and political interests. Together, we build a way of regarding one another that reintroduces civility into public discourse and the basic human courtesy of open regard for others into all political relationships. The point of our program is not to get everyone to agree. Rather, we help people to be able to disagree in respectful ways that keep the lines of dialogue open and the wheels of the body politic moving. We work to foster a political system that is able to create lasting solutions because it is peopled by those who see their fellow public servants as people like themselves, who work together to find solutions to our modern challenges, no matter where the ideas first came from.

Government & Politics

Leadership and Self-Deception in Politics and Government, our 2-day training program for government/political organizations, introduces participants to the power of Arbinger's approach and its practical application in the political arena. Individuals and teams learn to see their behavior and motivation in ways that lead to concrete and measurable results - in the form of fewer problems, more cooperation, increased productivity and more.
